Experiment – Salted Green Currant Tomato “Capers”

I harvested a large bowl of currant tomatoes this morning before the sun rose over the cedars (it’s hot again here). There was a small jar measure of green ones leftover that I’ve packed in grey sea salt and popped into the fridge so I won’t forget about them. I will drain and re-salt them twice over the next two weeks and then we’ll see what we get.

Tomato variety is ‘Sweet Pea’ red currant (they are indeed about the size of peas +/-).
